The Children's Golf Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of disabled children. Our mission is to teach, free of charge, golf to children with mental and physical disabilities.
The Children's Golf Foundation is dedicated to teaching children with disabilities how to play golf. Our goal is not just to teach these children how to hit a golf ball, but to teach them how to PLAY the GAME of golf. We start with PGA Golf Professionals teaching all of our classes. We also have physical therapists and a club maker to assist these children in learning how to play the game of golf.
Students are provided with all the necessary equipment to begin the learning process. Our curriculum teaches everything from Posture, Grip, and Alignment to Proper Etiquette and The Rules Of Golf.
The ultimate accomplishment for the Children's Golf Foundation is to get these disabled children playing golf on a regulation course. We have already accomplished this with a few of our advanced students. What was previously thought to be impossible for these children is now a reality! |
